В сборнике представлены материалы Всероссийской научной конференции «Природное геологическое наследие европейского севера России». Это вторая конференция по проблемам геоконсервации, которая проводится Институтом геологии Коми НЦ УрО РАН. Первая состоялась в сентябре 2007 г.
