Geophysics is a principal tool for geoscientists that helps decipher not only deeper geology but also formational processes and chronological changes in the physical property contrasts between the causative bodies and the surroundings at the different strata of the subsurface.
It is a fact that geophysical methods are very effective in resolving various problems related to the lithospheric, atmospheric, hydrospheric, and cryospheric domains because of advanced observational systems and powerful computational algorithms for geophysical problems for the entire earth system science. However, in geosciences, the principal problem is that geophysical exploration does not demonstrate the existence of materials and structures directly but is rather indicative of proxies, associated with mapping the distribution of estimated physical parameters. The selection of these parameters and the subsequent interpretations of measured data are key points of every geophysical survey. Another serious drawback of the geophysical method is the non-uniqueness of the interpretation. It is therefore the authors who advocate for the deployment of integrated geophysical methods to find a plausible inference from the generated diverse set of geophysical data, since measurements of several geophysical parameters with broader spectra provide ample opportunity for the joint interpretation of the obtained results that lead to correct and useful findings. <...>
